279 Cotton Mix 80/20 is a needle punched wadding. It has the added support of a scrim binder, allowing an excellent combination of a soft feel and a lightweight construction whilst still providing stability and support. Especially developed for quilts but is also suitable for lightweight jackets.
Can be sewn by hand or machine. Quilting Distance is recommended no wider than 20cm.
Washable at 30 degrees. Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry. Medium heat iron.
As it is a natural product, to avoid shrinkage, it is recommend to soaking the batting, prior to use, in hot water for 20 minutes. Please do not wring when wet, only squeeze gently and allow to dry flat.
This product is sold in 1m increments and is 244cm wide. Smaller measurements can be purchased in store.
