We know starting a new craft can feel a bit daunting, so we assume you’ve never picked done any stitching or felt craft before and work from there. From the basics of how to use the templates, through to adding embroidered details, we’re right there with you every step of the way. It's the sort of project that's perfect for curling up on the sofa with a cup of tea, switching off from the world for a few hours and ending up with something rather lovely to hang on your wall.

• 30% wool / 70% viscose wool felt sheets in all the colours you need.

• DMC embroidery floss ready for stitching.

• Embroidery needle made by John James in England.

• Pins to hold bits in place.
